2020-2025 Toyota RAV4 Auto Start Stop Eliminator
Toyota's factory Stop & Start System is designed to reduce unnecessary idling by automatically stopping the engine when operating conditions are satisfied and restarting it when driving resumes.
For drivers who prefer Stop & Start off, Toyota provides a physical cancel switch. The inconvenience is that Toyota states the system is automatically re-enabled after the engine is switched off and restarted.
The Recontrol-X memory harness is designed to remove that repetitive step.
Restores Your Preferred A-OFF State
Rather than permanently removing the factory system, the module works with the existing Stop & Start cancel switch.
Once installed, it is designed to:
- Reduce repeated A-OFF button presses
- Restore the preferred Stop & Start state after startup
- Keep the original factory button available
- Avoid permanent ECU programming
- Remain removable if factory behavior is wanted again
The factory button can still be used when you want to change the state for a particular drive.

Does this fit a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?
Toyota states that the conventional Stop & Start Engine System is not applicable to RAV4 Hybrid. This product should be matched to a RAV4 with the physical A-OFF / Stop & Start cancel switch shown in the product images.
Why does Stop & Start come back after I restart my RAV4?
