The Recontrol-X 2023-2026 Honda CR-V Auto Start Stop Eliminator is a vehicle-specific plug-in module designed to automatically place the factory Auto Idle Stop system in the OFF state after startup while keeping the original A-OFF control available whenever you want to use the system again.
Honda states that the CR-V Auto Idle Stop system can automatically shut the engine off when the vehicle comes to a stop under appropriate operating conditions. Honda also confirms that the system turns back on every time the engine is started, even if it was switched off during the previous drive.
The Recontrol-X module is built as a compact approximately 5.9-inch inline harness with matching vehicle-style connectors. The supplied product materials show installation at the center-console switch area next to the shifter, where the factory Auto Idle Stop OFF button is located.
