The Jeep Gladiator JT's Engine Stop/Start system automatically stops the engine during certain vehicle stops when operating conditions are met. Jeep's own 2020 and 2024 documentation states that when the Stop/Start system is manually switched off, it resets to ON again after the ignition is cycled.
