Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

1. Order Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order before it has shipped, please contact us immediately. While Re-Control Automotive does not charge any direct cancellation fees, non-refundable payment processing fees charged by third-party payment gateways (e.g., credit card processors, PayPal) will be deducted from your refund total.

2. Return & Refund Policy

• Return Window: Eligible items may be returned for a refund within 30 calendar days from the original shipment date.

• Pre-Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by Re-Control Automotive before being shipped back. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.

• Item Condition: Returned products must be in their original packaging and in like-new, resalable condition.

• Restocking & Shipping Fees:

  • A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all approved returns.

  • Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs associated with returning the item.

• Inspection & Rejection: Re-Control Automotive reserves the right to inspect all returned products upon arrival. If a return request is rejected after inspection (e.g., due to damage, missing parts, or clear signs of misuse), the customer will be responsible for any shipping charges required to send the item back to them.

3. 3-Year Limited Warranty

• Coverage: Defective products will be replaced free of charge within 3 years from the original date of purchase.

• Product Revisions: Re-Control Automotive continuously improves its products and reserves the right to replace a defective item with a newer revision or updated version of the same product.

• Prorated Refund Fallback: If an exact replacement or updated revision is unavailable, a prorated refund will be issued based on the original purchase price and the remaining balance of the 3-year warranty period.

• Warranty Process: Please Contact Us before returning any item for warranty evaluation so our technical team can assist you and make the exchange process as seamless as possible.

• Vehicle Compatibility Disclaimer: Re-Control Automotive makes every effort to engineer products that remain fully functional after vehicle manufacturer updates. However, we cannot guarantee device compatibility with future vehicle hardware or software revisions issued by vehicle OEMs. Issues caused by subsequent vehicle software or hardware updates from any outside source are beyond our control and are not covered under this warranty.

4. Non-Warranty Exchanges

• Eligibility: Non-warranty exchange requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the product shipment date.

• Shipping Charges: Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping of the original item, as well as the actual shipping costs for the new replacement item.

• Promotions: Free or discounted shipping promotional offers do not apply to non-warranty exchange orders.
