2022-2025 Nissan Pathfinder Auto Start Stop Eliminator | Plug & Play
Description
2022-2025 Nissan Pathfinder Auto Start Stop Eliminator
The Nissan Pathfinder uses an Idling Stop System that can automatically stop the engine while the vehicle is stationary and restart it when driving resumes. Nissan provides an Idling Stop OFF switch for drivers who want to temporarily disable the feature, but the factory system resets to ON when the ignition is cycled.
For Pathfinder owners who prefer Idling Stop disabled, the Recontrol-X Auto Start Stop Eliminator removes the need to repeat the same A-OFF button press every time the vehicle is started.
Nissan's owner's manual specifically states that pushing the Idling Stop OFF switch temporarily disables the system and that restarting the vehicle reactivates it.
Auto Stop OFF at Startup
Automatically restores your preferred OFF behavior: Once installed, the module is designed to switch unwanted Idling Stop off when the vehicle starts.
No repeated A-OFF routine: You no longer need to remember the same button press every time you begin a trip.
Factory button control remains available: Press the original A-OFF button whenever you want to enable the factory Idling Stop System again for that drive.
That last point matters: this product is not intended to permanently remove your ability to use Start/Stop. It changes the default behavior while leaving the driver with the original control.
Front Console Plug-In Installation
This Pathfinder application installs through the front center-console / cup-holder assembly, rather than at the hood latch or the BCM locations used by some other vehicle-specific eliminators.
Carefully release the cup-holder/control-panel trim using a plastic trim tool.
Lift the assembly enough to access the factory electrical connections beneath the console.
Connect the eliminator inline with the factory Start/Stop switch circuit and its associated power connection.
Make sure every plug is correctly aligned and fully locked before routing the wiring and reinstalling the console trim.
No cutting the original vehicle wiring
No wire splicing
No permanent switch modification
No ECU reflash
No OBD-II coding procedure
Comparable Pathfinder-specific modules use the same center-console access method, and owners frequently describe installation as relatively quick once the trim is removed and the correct connectors are accessible.
Purpose-Built Harness Layout
The supplied harness is not simply a universal two-wire bypass.
The product materials show:
Main module harness: approximately 6.02 inches
Secondary inline harness: approximately 5.75 inches
Connecting lead: approximately 27.75 inches
The multi-harness layout is designed to reach the required console connections while allowing the module and wiring to be positioned out of the way before the trim is reinstalled.
Keep the Factory A-OFF Button Functional
After installation, the module is intended to place Idling Stop in the OFF state automatically at startup.
If you want the system operating again, use the original factory A-OFF button normally.
This is one of the most important differences between a dedicated plug-in eliminator and improvised methods that simply disconnect another vehicle sensor.
Pathfinder owners have specifically discussed hood-latch-disconnection methods that disable Start/Stop but can also disable remote start, which is one reason a purpose-built console module is a more targeted approach.
Vehicle Fitment
Designed for:
2022 Nissan Pathfinder
2023 Nissan Pathfinder
2024 Nissan Pathfinder
2025 Nissan Pathfinder
Trim and engine combinations are not separately listed.
Do not assume compatibility with earlier Pathfinder generations or later model years simply because another seller advertises a wider range.
Before You Order
Confirm your vehicle is a 2022-2025 Nissan Pathfinder.
Confirm your vehicle has the factory Idling Stop OFF / A-OFF control.
Compare the center-console switch arrangement with the product images.
If the vehicle has aftermarket console wiring or electrical modifications, inspect the connectors before ordering.
This product is intended to control normal factory Idling Stop behavior. It is not a repair device for an existing Start/Stop malfunction, battery fault, warning message, electrical problem, starting issue, or abnormal engine stall.

S&Q
Does this Auto Start Stop Eliminator fit my 2022-2025 Nissan Pathfinder?
It is designed for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Nissan Pathfinder models equipped with the factory Idling Stop OFF / A-OFF control. Before ordering, compare your center-console switch layout with the product images, especially if the console wiring has previously been modified.
Will I still have to press the A-OFF button every time I start the Pathfinder?
No. The eliminator is designed to automatically place the factory Idling Stop System in the OFF state when the vehicle starts, so you do not have to repeat the same A-OFF button press on every trip.
Can I turn the Idling Stop System back on after the eliminator is installed?
Yes. The original A-OFF button remains usable. If you want the factory Idling Stop System active for a particular drive, press the original button to change the setting. The eliminator changes the startup preference rather than removing your ability to use the factory feature.
How is it installed, and do I have to cut wires or program the vehicle?
Installation is performed through the front center-console / cup-holder area. Remove the trim carefully, access the factory Start/Stop switch and power connections, and install the supplied harnesses inline. No factory wire cutting, splicing, ECU reflash, or OBD-II coding is required. A plastic trim tool is included to help access the console.
Will the eliminator interfere with factory remote start?
This console-based plug-in design is intended to retain normal factory remote-start operation. It does not use the hood-latch-disconnection method that some Pathfinder owners report can disable remote start. If your vehicle has an aftermarket remote-start or alarm system, verify its wiring configuration before installation.
